Evaluation

I feel that overall the preliminary task went very well we have managed to produce a final project that has allowed us to move on to our main task and is very benefical with various ideas that we can use within our main task! We had hit various problems we need to watch out for next include:
- Filming conversations in seperate takes didnt work out as we planned but would have worked better in single takes.
- Knowledge of the software used to edit (Imovie) would of been more beneficial.
- Time management, would of been more beneficial to spend more time filming instead of rushing.
- Quality of camera, the camera provided from school wasn't particularly great but using our own one for the main task will be more efficient.

For our main task we will take these down points into consideration and decide to encounter these problems to make it look perfect!

Editing Begins!

Editing had began today at 2.45pm between Myself, Evano, Matt and Tyler. All that was left at half past five in the evening was Myself, Evano and Matt with two pizza's, we didn't finish editing until 10pm! Joy oh joy I hope this looks great...

Filming Is Now Finished!

We have finished filming on the 16th January and the deadline is for the 20th! Just overviewing the video clips we have recorded and things look well. We will begin editing tomorrow on Evano's macbook and will meet the deadline!

Delay

Due to the year 13's having the cameras to currently do their coursework, we have had a delay on filming our preliminary but on the upside the camera's are now available and we have a deadline set for next Friday on the 20th to hand the finished preliminary in. We are now getting ready to film and will be filming tomorrow and editing over the next few days on course to do the deadline. Will keep the blog updated.

Update

After evaluating our current draft script and storyboard and developing further research into clips and other storyboarding, we had enough knowledge and had planned to start a new script and storyboard. Filming is becoming very close!

Researching

Within this short clip we had analysed the camera shots, mise-en-scene, editing and soundtrack to see which was beneficial to our group work and then decided what our short clip was going to be about.

Beginning of preliminary task!

Hello there! We have just had announced that we are beginning our preliminary task which was either a magazine cover or doing a short film clip. We have put ourselves in a small group of four and have began to research camera shots, dialogue and editing.
